Business operations on Severe Weather Trading (SWT) days


In light of the implementation of trading arrangements of the Hong Kong securities and derivatives markets during severe weather conditions (“Severe Weather Trading” or “SWT”) by Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (“HKEX”) on 23 September 2024, we would like to inform you that Webull Securities Limited (“Webull”) will continue our business operations on a SWT Day. Please refer to the details below:-


Business operations on a SWT Day


We will maintain business operations of the following areas:


Order execution and trade settlement

Webull shall continue to provide electronic trading service (e.g. order execution) via Webull App and trade settlement services.


Margin requirement and forced liquidation

You are required to continuously comply with Webull’s margin requirements in respect of relevant products and Webull may take appropriate actions including forced liquidation in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the Client Agreement.


Subscription and redemption of “ICBC CICC USD Money Market ETF A USD” (the “ICBC CICC MMF”).


The ICBC CICC MMF is available for trading (subscription and redemption) unless otherwise specified by Webull through separate notices.


Unless stated otherwise, there will be no Fund trading (including mutual funds) on a SWT Day.


Subject to availability of bank services, you are advised to transfer funds electronically on an SWT Day (e.g, Clearing House Automated Transfer System (CHATS), Faster Payment System (FPS) and electronic Direct Debit Authorization (eDDA) to meet your trading needs and settlement or margin obligations in a timely manner.
