Shares of Coherent Corp. (NYSE:COHR) rose sharply in pre-market trading after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results.

Coherent reported quarterly earnings of 95 cents per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 69 cents per share.  The company reported quarterly sales of $1.44 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.37 billion.

Coherent shares jumped 15.5% to $104.04 in the pre-market trading session.

  • Mach Natural Resources LP (NYSE:MNR) declined 6.9% to $16.00 in pre-market trading as the company announced the launch of 12 million common unit offering.
  • Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) shares dipped 6.1% to $9.40 in pre-market trading. Ford reported upbeat fourth-quarter financial results on Wednesday. Ford said it sees full-year 2025 adjusted EBIT in a range of $7 billion to $8.5 billion, adjusted free cash flow in a range of $3.5 billion to $4.5 billion, and capital spending in a range of $8 billion to $9 billion.
