NORTHVILLE, Mich., May 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Cooper Standard's (NYSE: CPS) Shannon B. Quinn, president of Cooper Standard's Industrial & Specialty Group, has been named one of Automotive News' 100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry for 2025. Quinn and her co-honorees are featured in the May 19 issue and were celebrated at a gala at The Henry in Dearborn, Mich., hosted by Automotive News.

100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry recognizes female leaders in the automotive field – those who make major decisions and have significant influence at their companies. Automotive News has published the list of the industry's top female executives every five years since 2000.

"The global Cooper Standard team is incredibly proud of Shannon for being recognized as a top industry leader," said Jeffrey Edwards, chairman and CEO of Cooper Standard. "Her visionary leadership, commitment to excellence and passion for innovation continue to inspire not only our team, but the entire automotive industry. This recognition is a testament to her outstanding contributions and the bright future she is helping to shape."

With more than 25 years of experience spanning a wide range of functions and product areas, Quinn currently works to progress Cooper Standard's diversification strategy to accelerate growth and maximize the value of Cooper Standard's products and technologies in industrial and specialty markets. Additionally, she serves as the Global Executive Sponsor for Cooper Standard's Women's Resource Group (WISE).

Prior to her current role, Quinn served as vice president, chief commercial and strategy officer, where she was responsible for the global commercial group and corporate strategy from the time she joined the Company in 2022 to 2024. Prior to joining Cooper Standard, Quinn served in various executive leadership positions with other leading automotive companies including Bridgestone Corp, Adient, Johnson Controls and Ford.

Quinn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and a Master of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti. She has also completed multiple exclusive executive leadership development programs. She has served as an OESA (Original Equipment Supplier Association) director and an Automotive Hall of Fame board director. Quinn currently serves as a board director for Vista Maria and the Board Development Committee.

"Over the last 25 years, on six lists of Leading Women, Automotive News has honored 442 executives. This year's group of Leading Women has 24 presidents and CEOs and nine other C-suite executives; the first group, in 2000, had 14 presidents and CEOs and five others in the C-suite," said Mary Beth Vander Schaaf, Automotive News senior director of editorial operations.

The 2025 class of Automotive News' 100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry emerged from a months-long nomination and judging process that attracted hundreds of entries from the United States, Canada and Mexico.
