A-shares and A-share ETFs Trading FAQs

1. What types of A-share market products can trade on Webull?

A-shares and A-shares ETFs on the list of eligible stocks for Northbound Trading.


2. Does Webull support A-share financing and short selling?

No. Currently, A-share financing and short selling are not supported.


3. Does Webull support A-share IPO subscription?

No. Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect and Shenzhen–Hong Kong Stock Connect do not support IPO.


4. What is the charges for A-shares and A-share ETFs trading

5. Can I amend or cancel my A-shares and A-share ETF trading orders?

Order amendment is not allowed for Northbound Trading. If you want to amend your A-shares trading order, you have to cancel the order first and place a new order after successfully cancelled.


6. What is the contingency arrangement under severe weather conditions?

(1) If SSE ⁄ SZSE is suspended due to bad weather, Northbound Trading will not open.

(2) If typhoon no. 8 (or above) is issued in Hong Kong after Hong Kong market opens but before SSE ⁄ SZSE market opens (between 9:00 a.m. and 9:15 a.m.), Northbound Trading will not open.


7. Does Webull support A-share market’s’ GEM and STAR Market transactions?

GEM and STAR Market stocks are currently limited to institutional professional investors.
