Do I pay management fees for investing in ETFs?

Most ETFs charge management and operating expenses in the form of a Total Expense Ratio (TER).


Like traditional mutual funds, ETF fees are accrued daily against the Net Asset Value (NAV) and deducted periodically directly from the ETF’s assets; no separate charges are made to investors.


Overall, ETF fees are generally lower than those of mutual funds.
