Listen to the news

Looking at Kangqiao Service Group Limited's (HKG:2205 ) insider transactions over the last year, we can see that insiders were net buyers. That is, there were more number of shares purchased by insiders than there were sold.

While insider transactions are not the most important thing when it comes to long-term investing, we do think it is perfectly logical to keep tabs on what insiders are doing.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Kangqiao Service Group

In the last twelve months, the biggest single purchase by an insider was when insider Junjie Zhang bought HK$20m worth of shares at a price of HK$0.68 per share. That means that an insider was happy to buy shares at above the current price of HK$0.67. Their view may have changed since then, but at least it shows they felt optimistic at the time. To us, it's very important to consider the price insiders pay for shares. Generally speaking, it catches our eye when an insider has purchased shares at above current prices, as it suggests they believed the shares were worth buying, even at a higher price. Junjie Zhang was the only individual insider to buy shares in the last twelve months.
