Business development company New Mountain Finance (NASDAQ:NMFC) will be reporting earnings this Monday after market hours. Here’s what investors should know.

New Mountain Finance missed analysts’ revenue expectations by 1.6% last quarter, reporting revenues of $83.49 million, down 11.7% year on year. It was a slower quarter for the company, with a miss of analysts’ revenue estimates.

This quarter, analysts are expecting New Mountain Finance’s revenue to decline 12.6% year on year to $83.35 million, a reversal from the 1% increase it recorded in the same quarter last year.

Analysts covering the company have generally reconfirmed their estimates over the last 30 days, suggesting they anticipate the business to stay the course heading into earnings. New Mountain Finance has missed Wall Street’s revenue estimates five times over the last two years.
