Macy's Posts Upbeat Q4 Earnings, Joins Microvast, Nextnav, Williams-Sonoma And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Wednesday

U.S. stocks were lower, with the Dow Jones index falling around 200 points on Wednesday.

Shares of Macy’s Inc (NYSE:M) rose sharply during Tuesday's session after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results. Also, the company issued FY26 sales guidance with their respective midpoints above estimates.

Macy’s posted adjusted EPS of $1.67, beating market estimates of $1.53. The company's quarterly sales came in at $7.639 billion versus estimates of $7.615 billion.

Macy’s shares jumped 7.6% to $18.22 on Wednesday.

• Swarmer Inc (NASDAQ:SWMR) shares jumped 44.5% to $44.80. Swarmer on Monday priced its initial public offering at $5 per share, raising about $15 million, as the drone autonomy software company looks to scale operations and expand its product capabilities amid rising defense demand.
• Regencell Bioscience Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ:RGC) gained 21.1% to $27.81.
• Datavault AI Inc (NASDAQ:DVLT) gained 16.3% to $0.90. Datavault announced on Tuesday that it will report fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 financial results before the market opens on Thursday.
• Microvast Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:MVST) surged 15.1% to $1.75. Microvast recently reported worse-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results.
• Nextnav Inc (NASDAQ:NN) gained 14.3% to $19.28 following strong quarterly sales.
• HUYA Inc – ADR (NYSE:HUYA) gained 13.6% to $3.58. HUYA announced a new $50 million share repurchase program.
• Lumentum Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:LITE) jumped 13.1% to $735.02.
• Kingsoft Cloud Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ:KC) gained 12.8% to $14.80.
• Applied Optoelectronics Inc (NASDAQ:AAOI) rose 12% to $96.70 after the company announced that it will demonstrate how its solutions support modern data centers with the bandwidth, power and density needed for future AI systems at the ongoing Optical Fiber Communications Conference in Los Angeles.
• ZTO Express (Cayman) Inc (NYSE:ZTO) gained 9.9% to $26.08 following fourth-quarter results.
• Coherent Corp (NYSE:COHR) rose 7.8% to $265.00.
• nVent Electric PLC (NYSE:NVT) surged 7.7% to $123.61 after the company issued three-year financial targets as part of its investor day event.
• DigitalOcean Holdings Inc (NYSE:DOCN) gained 7% to $83.26.
• Williams-Sonoma Inc (NYSE:WSM) gained 5.3% to $191.94 following upbeat quarterly earnings.
