Alibaba Posts Downbeat Earnings, Joins Guardian Pharmacy, Micron And Other Big Stocks Moving Lower In Thursday's Pre-Market Session

U.S. stock futures were slightly lower this morning, with the S&P 5000 futures falling around 0.1% on Thursday.

Shares of Alibaba Group Holding Ltd – ADR (NYSE:BABA) fell sharply in pre-market trading after the company announced downbeat quarterly results.

Alibaba reported third-quarter earnings of $1.01 per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $1.73 per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $40.732 billion which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $41.260 billion.

Alibaba shares dipped 5.5% to $127.10 in pre-market trading.

Almonty Industries Inc (NASDAQ:ALM) fell 17% to $14.76 in pre-market trading after posting downbeat quarterly sales.
AIM ImmunoTech Inc (NYSE:AIM) fell 14.2% to $0.87 in pre-market trading. AIM ImmunoTech shares jumped 44% on Wednesday after the company announced that the Japan Patent Office has approved a Japanese patent covering the proprietary use of Ampligen in combination with checkpoint inhibitors for the treatment of cancer.
Swarmer Inc (NASDAQ:SWMR) declined 12.4% to $48.20 in pre-market trading amid continued post-IPO volatility. Drone autonomy software company Swarmer made its public debut on the Nasdaq on Tuesday, soaring more than 500%.
Anglogold Ashanti PLC (NYSE:AU) fell 10.6% to $82.62 in pre-market trading.
Guardian Pharmacy Services Inc (NYSE:GRDN) shares dipped 10.1% to $30.50 in pre-market trading after the company announced a proposed public offering of 5 million shares.
Gold Fields Ltd (NYSE:GFI) fell 8.7% to $39.06 in pre-market trading amid declines for both gold and silver prices.
Teck Resources Ltd (NYSE:TECK) declined 7.6% to $45.15 in pre-market trading.
New Found Gold Corp (NYSE:NFGC) fell 7.1% to $1.82 in pre-market trading.
Pan American Silver Corp (NYSE:PAAS) fell 6.4% to $48.50 in pre-market trading.
Endeavour Silver Corp (NYSE:EXK) declined 6.4% to $8.86 in pre-market trading after falling around 8% on Wednesday.
Santacruz Silver Mining Ltd (NASDAQ:SCZM) fell 6% to $7.35 in pre-market trading.
Micron Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:MU) fell 5.8% to $435.04 in pre-market trading. Micron reported better-than-expected financial results for the second quarter of fiscal 2026. The company also announced that it expects fiscal 2026 capital expenditure to be above $25 billion.
Seabridge Gold Inc (NYSE:SA) fell 4.3% to $25.86 in pre-market trading amid declines in gold and silver.
