SunOpta Inc. ("SunOpta" or the "Company") (Nasdaq: STKL) (TSX:SOY), a North American supply chain solutions provider, today announced the early termination of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 ("HSR Act") in connection with the proposed acquisition of the Company by an affiliate of Refresco Holding B.V. ("Refresco") for US$6.50 per share in cash (the "Arrangement").
