Organon, CoreWeave, WhiteFiber And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Friday

U.S. stocks were mixed, with the Dow Jones index falling over 100 points on Friday.

Shares of Organon & Co. (NYSE:OGN) rose sharply following reports suggesting Sun Pharmaceutical submitted a binding offer to acquire the company.

Mumbai-based Dilip Shanghvi-led Sun Pharmaceutical Industries is moving closer to a binding $12 billion offer for Organon, marking what could become the largest overseas acquisition by an Indian pharmaceutical company.

Citing people familiar with the matter, the Economic Times reported that Sun Pharma has completed an extensive due diligence process spanning more than three months.

Organon shares jumped 26.4% to $8.74 on Friday.

• Zentalis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:ZNTL) shares jumped 40.7% to $6.27. Guggenheim analyst Michael Schmidt maintained Zentalis Pharmaceuticals with a Buy and raised the price target from $6 to $10.
• REalloys Inc. (NASDAQ:ALOY) rose 22.6% to $12.11.
• Astera Labs, Inc. (NASDAQ:ALAB) gained 14.7% to $148.51.
• Spire Global, Inc. (NASDAQ:SPIR) jumped 13.8% to $20.39.
• Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. (NASDAQ:AAOI) surged 13.3% to $151.07.
• Lightwave Logic, Inc. (NASDAQ:LWLG) jumped 13.3% to $9.56.
• POET Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:POET) gained 12.7% to $6.85.
• CoreWeave, Inc. (NASDAQ:CRWV) rose 12.3% to $103.40 following reports suggesting that Anthropic agreed to rent the company’s computing power.
• Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd (NASDAQ:CRDO) gained 10.6% to $119.46.
• Hotel101 Global Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ:HBNB) jumped 9% to $6.83.
• WhiteFiber, Inc. (NASDAQ:WYFI) gained 8.5% to $14.73. BTIG analyst Gregory Lewis initiated coverage on Whitefiber with a Buy rating and announced a price target of $20.
• Evolution Metals & Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:EMAT) rose 7.6% to $8.03.
• Merlin, Inc. (NASDAQ:MRLN) rose 5% to $10.35.
