Best Quantum Stock? Citron Research Says Nvidia CEO Just Told Investors Which Name To Watch

Quantum stocks have been on fire this week thanks to World Quantum Day and new announcements from NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA). When it comes to picking the best quantum stock, Citron Research is doubling down on their pick and telling investors that Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is also tipping his hand.

Best Quantum Stock

Shares of Infleqtion Inc (NYSE:INFQ) soared this week and according to Citron Research there could be more upside, as the name has been a favorite of the investment newsletter company dating back to the days when the quantum company was still working through a SPAC merger that was completed in February.

"Don't listen to Citron. Listen to Jensen," Citron Research tweeted Thursday.

Citron said that Nvidia has laid out "exactly who their partners are" when it comes to quantum.

"$INFQ is the only company Nvidia selected twice for both calibration and decoding, yet trades at half the market cap of $RGTI, a company Nvidia didn't select al all. $INFQ deserves to be twice the market cap of $RGTI. Not the other way around.

Citron said that this is the "most obvious mispricing in the quantum market right now."

Rigetti Computing Inc (NASDAQ:RGTI) trades with a market capitalization of around $6.22 billion, compared to $3.1 billion for Infleqtion. Rigetti has also outperformed Infleqtion in recent days with shares up 32.3% over the last five days, compared to a 16.7% gain for Infleqtion.

In the tweet, Citron highlights a press release Nvidia released this week. That press release, which covers the launch of Ising, the world's first open AI models "to accelerate the path to useful quantum computers," highlights Infleqtion multiple times.

Infleqtion is listed among the leading quantum enterprises and research labs adopting Ising. The company is also listed for both calibration and decoding, as mentioned in the tweet by Citron.

"The smallest public quantum company by market cap was selected the most by the most important AI infrastructure company on earth," Citron added. "Nvidia ranked these companies for you. The stock market hasn't caught up yet."

Citron said Infleqtion has been selected for the "entire Nvidia quantum stack," while Rigetti is selected for none of it.

"Being selected twice is not a small thing."

What's Next For Infleqtion

Citron has been bullish on Infleqtion stock for months. The stock has struggled since completing its merger in February, with shares down around 6.9%.

Along with the Nvidia news, Citron highlights that Infleqtion had 100% organic growth in 2025 and $550 million in cash with zero debt.

"15 years runway," Citron Research said. "The people who actually understand quantum chose $INFQ."

Citron's post comes after Citigroup recently initiated coverage on Infleqtion stock with a Buy rating and price target of $20.

In an interview with Benzinga, Infleqtion shared how it was different from Rigetti and other quantum names and also discussed its future growth plans.
