Listen to the news

Investors in Titan America SA (NYSE:TTAM) had a good week, as its shares rose 5.8% to close at US$17.01 following the release of its quarterly results. Revenues were in line with forecasts, at US$398m, although statutory earnings per share came in 12% below what the analysts expected, at US$0.18 per share. Following the result, the analysts have updated their earnings model, and it would be good to know whether they think there's been a strong change in the company's prospects, or if it's business as usual. With this in mind, we've gathered the latest statutory forecasts to see what the analysts are expecting for next year.

After the latest results, the seven analysts covering Titan America are now predicting revenues of US$1.71b in 2026. If met, this would reflect a modest 2.2% improvement in revenue compared to the last 12 months. Statutory earnings per share are predicted to increase 9.9% to US$1.10. Before this earnings report, the analysts had been forecasting revenues of US$1.71b and earnings per share (EPS) of US$1.10 in 2026. The consensus analysts don't seem to have seen anything in these results that would have changed their view on the business, given there's been no major change to their estimates.

There were no changes to revenue or earnings estimates or the price target of US$17.43, suggesting that the company has met expectations in its recent result. It could also be instructive to look at the range of analyst estimates, to evaluate how different the outlier opinions are from the mean. Currently, the most bullish analyst values Titan America at US$20.00 per share, while the most bearish prices it at US$15.00. The narrow spread of estimates could suggest that the business' future is relatively easy to value, or thatthe analysts have a strong view on its prospects.

Looking at the bigger picture now, one of the ways we can make sense of these forecasts is to see how they measure up against both past performance and industry growth estimates. We can infer from the latest estimates that forecasts expect a continuation of Titan America'shistorical trends, as the 2.9% annualised revenue growth to the end of 2026 is roughly in line with the 2.7% annual growth over the past year. By contrast, our data suggests that other companies (with analyst coverage) in a similar industry are forecast to see their revenues grow 6.6% per year. So it's pretty clear that Titan America is expected to grow slower than similar companies in the same industry.

The Bottom Line

The most important thing to take away is that there's been no major change in sentiment, with the analysts reconfirming that the business is performing in line with their previous earnings per share estimates. On the plus side, there were no major changes to revenue estimates; although forecasts imply they will perform worse than the wider industry. There was no real change to the consensus price target, suggesting that the intrinsic value of the business has not undergone any major changes with the latest estimates.

Keeping that in mind, we still think that the longer term trajectory of the business is much more important for investors to consider. We have estimates - from multiple Titan America analysts - going out to 2028, and you can see them free on our platform here.
