Listen to the news

Looking at Boltek Holdings Limited's (HKG:8601 ) insider transactions over the last year, we can see that insiders were net buyers. That is, there were more number of shares purchased by insiders than there were sold.

Although we don't think shareholders should simply follow insider transactions, we would consider it foolish to ignore insider transactions altogether.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Boltek Holdings

In the last twelve months, the biggest single purchase by an insider was when insider Kwan Yuen Lam bought HK$1.3m worth of shares at a price of HK$0.24 per share. So it's clear an insider wanted to buy, at around the current price, which is HK$0.26. That means they have been optimistic about the company in the past, though they may have changed their mind. While we always like to see insider buying, it's less meaningful if the purchases were made at much lower prices, as the opportunity they saw may have passed. In this case we're pleased to report that the insider bought shares at close to current prices. Kwan Yuen Lam was the only individual insider to buy shares in the last twelve months. Notably Kwan Yuen Lam was also the biggest seller.
