American States Water (NYSE:AWR) reported quarterly earnings of $0.85 per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $1.09 by 22.02 percent. This is a 1.16 percent decrease over earnings of $0.86 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $192.535 million which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $195.977 million by 1.76 percent. This is a 5.37 percent increase over sales of $182.716 million the same period last year.
