Concentrix Posts Better-Than-Expected Earnings, Joins Soleno Therapeutics, Petco Health and Wellness, MillerKnoll And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Thursday

U.S. stocks were lower, with the Dow Jones index falling around 0.2% on Thursday.

Shares of Concentrix Corporation (NASDAQ:CNXC) rose sharply during Thursday's session after the company reported better-than-expected first-quarter financial results and issued second-quarter revenue guidance above estimates.

Concentrix reported quarterly earnings of $2.79 per share, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.58. Quarterly revenue came in at $2.37 billion, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.36 billion and is down slightly from revenue of $2.4 billion from the same period last year.

Concentrix raised its fiscal 2025 reported revenue outlook from between $9.47 billion and $9.61 billion to between $9.49 billion and $9.635 billion, versus the $9.54 billion estimate.

Concentrix shares jumped 27% to $58.28 on Thursday.

Soleno Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:SLNO) shares jumped 40.3% to $68.72 after the company announced it secured FDA approval for its first commercial drug for a rare genetic disorder.
Petco Health and Wellness Company, Inc. (NASDAQ:WOOF) gained 32% to $3.2399 following fourth-quarter results.
Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:HTZ) rose 23.5% to $4.2650.
Jiayin Group Inc. (NASDAQ:JFIN) climbed 20.2% to $14.55 following fourth-quarter results.
Avis Budget Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:CAR) gained 19.7% to $73.72.
MillerKnoll, Inc. (NASDAQ:MLKN) shares climbed 11.7% to $20.45 after reporting third-quarter results.
Edgewise Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:EWTX) rose 11.6% to $24.85.
ImmunityBio, Inc. (NASDAQ:IBRX) gained 11% to $3.0850.
iQIYI, Inc. (NASDAQ:IQ) shares rose 8% to $2.4150.
Zai Lab Limited (NASDAQ:ZLAB) gained 6.4% to $36.09. Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Li Watsek reiterated Zai Lab with an Overweight rating.
Dollar Tree, Inc. (NASDAQ:DLTR) rose 5.5% to $73.08. Telsey Advisory Group analyst Joseph Feldman maintained Dollar Tree with a Market Perform and raised the price target from $75 to $82.
Ollie’s Bargain Outlet Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:OLLI) gained 4.7% to $113.24.
