Listen to the news

In the last year, many FIT Hon Teng Limited (HKG:6088) insiders sold a substantial stake in the company which may have sparked shareholders' attention. Knowing whether insiders are buying is usually more helpful when evaluating insider transactions, as insider selling can have various explanations. However, if numerous insiders are selling, shareholders should investigate more.

While insider transactions are not the most important thing when it comes to long-term investing, we would consider it foolish to ignore insider transactions altogether.

FIT Hon Teng Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

The COO, CFO & Executive Director, Pochin Lu, made the biggest insider sale in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for HK$57m worth of shares at a price of HK$3.17 each. We generally don't like to see insider selling, but the lower the sale price, the more it concerns us. The good news is that this large sale was at well above current price of HK$2.10. So it is hard to draw any strong conclusion from it.

In the last year FIT Hon Teng insiders didn't buy any company stock. The chart below shows insider transactions (by companies and individuals) over the last year. If you click on the chart, you can see all the individual transactions, including the share price, individual, and the date!
